Noreen Kompanik is a freelance travel writer and photographer based in San Diego, California and a member of the International Travel Writers and Photographers Alliance, International Food, Wine, and Travel Writer's Association and the San Diego Press Club. Since launching her writing career in October 2014, Noreen has had over 450 published articles. She is also an associate editor at Food, Travel, Wine Magazine. Her love of travel blended with her background in nursing enable her to create stories covering local, national and international travel, exotic destinations, beach and mountain destinations, world history, military history, family travel, hiking, food and wine, sustainable living, inspirational topics, and travel writing.
