Renate is a passionate travel writer and photographer based in New Jersey. Travel and adventure have been an intrinsic part of her life, starting with her earliest memories at age three, when she sailed with her parents and sister to Venezuela, where she was raised. She has lived in Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the US and has traveled to 60 countries. Fluent in English, Spanish and German, Renate's camera never leaves her side as she explores the world, finding off the beaten track places, and getting to know local cultures, food and wine. Publication credits include Travel Squire, Renaissance Magazine and Nomad Africa.
