Late flight, starving, hotel restaurant/room service has closed… What do you do? I learned a while back that most hotels have delivery service referrals at the front desk. Most recently this happened to me in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I was unable to get a bite to eat before catching my flight and decided to get something once I made it to my destination. Unfortunately I missed the cut off time for room service and on property restaurant by minutes. The front desk attendant gave me a referral to a few different places including their personal preference, Sarpino’s Pizzeria. (Note To Self: Always go with the local preference). The Classico Italiano pizza that I ordered was delicious! The delivery was within the timeframe that I was given over the phone and the pizza was still hot. If you are ever in the Fort Lauderdale area, especially if it is after 11 p.m. and hungry, call Sarpino’s. They are open til 3 a.m. Sunday – Thursday and til 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays. www.gosarpinos.com
